[Relocated from a Hickock thread].

I should have said: "a blast of switch cleaner" (directed into the body of
the
pots, switches, etc). This piece of gear had a fair amount of fine dust
inside
so you kind of have to rinse out the pots.

Finally tracked down reason for misbehavior of level/modulation controls:
there
is a cam-operated microswitch that wasn't switching. This is not helped by
the
stiffness of the bandchange mechanism. Anyway, microswitch working most of
the time now, all controls functional and some are even (re)calibrated.

I am looking for the plastic bezel (main tuning + calibration indicator);
mine is broken.
