[Test-Equipment] Hickok signal generator

Carl,

Please keep us updated on the 606A - I am just starting out with a 606B. So
far
I have replaced a dead 6HG7 (thought I had 4 of those; turned out to be
only 2 - and
one of those was dead also), and approximately set the Carrier Zero control
(there
was no output in the 'CW' position with the setting when I started out). I
think I need
to do all the calibration steps since the manual warns that the oscillator
level and
carrier zero controls are interdependent).

Also notice a warble on the note when listening to the calibrator (not on
zero beat,
obviously). Most of the pots in this unit are dirty.
