Subject: [Test-Equipment] Q Meter?

Several years back I wound up owner of an inexpensive tube-type Q Meter made
in England by Advance Components, Ltd. Marked Type "T.1."

Unlike the Boontons, it used garden variety miniature tubes. It covered the
HF spectrum from 100 kHz to 100 mHz. I found it to be pretty accurate when
used to measure the HP and Boonton standards and well worth picking up if
you come across one.
