I buy most of my parts from Mouser: www.mouser.com
Any modern film resistor, either carbon or metal, will do fine. Watch the voltage rating though; some of the newer metal film resistors are physically small for their power rating, and so sometimes the max voltage rating is not high enough for tube circuits. I'm thinking of standardizing on the Vishay/BC Components PR0200 series of 2 watt metal film resistors:

Replace the paper caps with modern film caps. I just buy 630 volt rated caps, as the modern dielectrics are so much better that you don't need to use a lower WVDC rated cap to get the cap to physically fit in the space allowed. I prefer axially-leaded caps rather than radial; I think they are easier to install in the original layout. I like the Mallory 150-series caps, now made by Cornell Dubilier:

For electrolytics, I find that restuffing the original cans makes for the neatest installation, so I prefer the new small diameter (10 and 12 mm) radial leaded electrolytics. Be sure to get the ones rated 105 degrees C or above, rather than the 85 degree C ones; you want the higher temp rating for tube gear.
