Hello Ron,

I passed up a chance to get an ancient signal generator with one of those. I
learned that it is called a "wobulator", and I've been tempted to add one to
a conventional signal generator by using a small variable cap that gets spun
by some mechanism---hand cranked?

Do you remember the model number of the basket case Hickok?

Cheers,

Brian Burns

~ Hi, great stuff, and glad to see some activity. A couple of years ago, I
bought a basket case Hickok sweep generator.
I was surprised that the 'sweeping' mechanism was mechanical and looked just
like the coil and magnet from a speaker.
How times have changed!!!
