     Thanks, that's what I wanted to know.  My 606A had very 
strongly bent plates, especially at the low capacitance end. 
My experience at -hp- was that the frequency calibration 
would come in at less than half the spec. I am pretty sure 
that the caps used in earlier production of the A may have 
had problems and were replaced with a different type later 
but its a vague memory.
