Ray,

You're welcome! Although I'm not a pilot, I was assigned this call randomly
by the FCC while I was in the Air Force- just a coincidence. While in the
service, I accumulated about 750 hours flying on B-52E and H bombers as a
NCM when the plane was carrying Hound Dog cruise missiles, in the 1964-1968
time frame. While stationed at Wright-Patterson AFB in Ohio, I also flew on
the zero-G missions, aboard a specially-modified KC-135A nicknamed the
"Vomit Comet." I didn't get sick, but I was a tad green around the ears for
the first half hour or so, on my first flight.

Eric,
Thank you. Love your call. Do you fly also? I have about 1200 hours SEL,
plus a few in gliders.

Ray,

Please be aware that the Mallory TR-132R is slightly different from the
Mallory TR-132, but I'm not sure what besides the voltage spec (2.7 vs. 2.8)
is changed.

My Eveready Battery Data Book states that the following batteries are exact
replacements for the Mallory TR-132R (but not the TR-132):

Burgess H132R
Eveready E132N
Ray-O-Vac T132N

This battery is a mercuric oxide device rated at 1000 mAh (20 mA drain) and
the suggested current drain is 0 to 100 mA.
