     Well back at home and no luck.  I have a complete 
Catalog K (first edition) dated 1939. The 774 connector is 
not even mentioned and is definitely not in the parts 
section.  It is, however, pictured on the front panel of the 
605-B signal generator.   A three-foot shielded cable is 
mentioned under accessories but there is no part number or 
mention of the connectors.  This is the oldest GR catalog I 
have, the others were all published after the 874 supplanted 
the earlier connector.
