    Check here. www.archive.org/ they have most of  the 73 Magazines here that can be downloaded for free, you may find something, and they have lots of surplus conversion information.

I stumbled across this site:

I could not get there by doing a search from the RS home 
page.   I was able to get some info.  Seems they tell you 
everything but calibration.  One line says for service, 
bring it to a RS store.  No schematic.  So much for that.  I 
think I will just live with it and try to remember to do the 
subtraction.  Previous units I had were only off by 1 or 2 ohms.
