I bought some of these acorn tubes from Fair Radio Sales in Lima, OH a few 
years ago.  They are very accommodating and helpful.  My catalog is very

GM all - in a bit of a bind here. Working on an old GDO and the output fades 
out in the
upper reaches of VHF.  Tested the 9002 and its soft. Unable to find 
replacements
in this rural area of northern Florida.
     Big question -- is there another tube (hopefully generally available) 
that either
substitutes for the 9002 or will work a well.
