Greetings;

Hope everyone had an enjoyable Thanksgiving!

*First, the bad:*
This unit came to me (left over from a series of repair jobs) with both
the AM and FM switch levers broken. They are functional using a small
screwdriver as a "slider".
The filter unit is *NOT* functioning.

*N**ow the good:*

The unit is very clean.
All stages and subsections have been tested including the attenuator
(using a substitute signal generator).
The R.F. section is generating correct levels and frequencies as tested
to the input of the filter section.
The display is complete; there does not appear to be any defective
characters.
Frequency is accurate (my lab uses dual Trimble GPS sources at avg .02
ppb) against display.
The *GEAR TRAINS* are intact!

If the 2 switches were intact I would probably repair the filter
section and put it on another test bench.

*BUT* I don't need it as I have an HP 8656B on the primary service bench.

Sold as a parts unit: $155.00 plus shipping FOB 77328
