Hi, Jeff
I have a 711N also, the later model
when MC Jones was bought by Bendix Microwave Div.
I bought a manual from A.G. Tannenbaum, but you can save
your money, because there is hardly any info in the manual
(for instance, no schematic of the pickup element).
The specs are as follows:
Freq Range 25 to 1000 MHz
Power Range 3 scales of 0 to 30, 30 to 75,
and 75 to 300 Watts
Impedance 51.5 Ohms
Accuracy +/- 5% of full scale for any range.
RF Connectors type N to mate with UG-21/U connectors
attached to either RG-8/U of RG-9/U cable.
Adapters Two adapters UG-146/U (N to UHF) are supplied.
The date on the outline drawing is 12-9-53.
The manual includes a forward/reflected power ratio to SWR chart,
similar to that Bird includes in their manuals.
The panel meter is by Honeywell, 30uA dc full scale
(by observation on my meter).
73,

Hamfest Saturday. Dose anyone have a manual for this RF Meter.
A pdf file would just fine. Thanks
