    I checked the tubes, the 6005 appears to be dead. I 
checked it on both my Weston and TV-7 tester. Unless both 
have errors in the settings the tube barely works. Now, it 
seems to have worked at first so perhaps was damaged 
somehow. It will be at least tomorrow before I can get a 
replacement. Since this tube also affects the B+ it may 
account for the lack of output on the low end of the lowest 
coil. I will report when I get another tube.
