Barry,

You, of course, know that if they are rated at 50V, then by using 4 of 
them, two in parallel, followed by two in parallel, then you get the 
same capacitance at the 100V.

Yes, takes more space.  "May" introduce inductance that throws the 
circuit off kilter.

Always trade-offs.

My $0.02 worth, not worth much today.
