Jack -

It is R30, and is a 300 Ohm pot, according to the schematic in the 
612-614 manual at Chris' Old Radios: Everyone with a Precision tube 
tester should visit his Precision data page:

Although I use a Hickok 533 (and a GR vacuum tube bridge for critical 
work or tubes the 533 won't handle) I own a Precision 620 and have a 
fondness for much old test equipment.
