Aha, Barry,
I've had exactly that problem. I opened up the box very carefully - you
know, undo the Pozidriv screws as if you are removing the cylinder head of
an automotive engine - 1-7-3-9-5-2-8, etc. Remove the cover. Then you will
see the bearings at each end of the shaft. Mark the Oldham coupler and
adjacent shafts outside the box, loosen the lock screws, slide the Oldham
coupler to allow the actuating shaft to lift. Then split the bearing shells,
add a drop of very fine lubricating oil to the bearings at each end, and
then reverse all the previous. End of problem!
