[Test-Equipment] 2uF 5% Capacitors?

Barry,

A little more information will be helpful. Is the capacitor axial lead,
radial lead, or SMD? What device is this capacitor going into, and what is
its reference designation? Is it an aluminum electrolytic, or something
else? It may very well be that the capacitance value is not critical, and
the tolerance requirement is bogus. It depends upon what this capacitor
does in the circuit. On the other hand, if the capacitance value is
critical, you can simply measure a handful of 20% capacitors and pick one
that has a value close to the desired value. You can probably buy a dozen
20% capacitors for what a single, tight-tolerance capacitor costs.

<snip>

I should have mentioned the voltage on the original spec. is 50 VDC.
The original part is only about 3/4" long and about 3/8" in diameter.

Thanks again,
