FWIW the gasket on the cabinet was gone. I found that
automobile door edge gasket as sold by Pep Boys is virtually
identical with the original. It comes in packages of several
about three foot lengths, one of which is enough for the
case with a couple of inches left over.
I also found that the Orthonull mechanism was slipping.
I was able to get it working by adding a second spring to
the clutch mechanism. Probably the real cause is wear on the
clutch but this works and finding the right kind of cork for
the clutch face might be difficult.
These are neat bridges and the Orthonull does make it
easier and faster to measure low-Q and high-D components.
