[Test-Equipment] Triplett 630-A question

     I came by a Triplet 630-A yesterday. In fair condition, 
one corner of the battery holder evidently broke off some 
time ago. I will have a go at patching it with epoxy.
     The schematic in the little handbook on BAMA is quite 
sketchy. There is an adjustment pot just in back of the 
meter which appears to be in series with the meter for some 
functions. Does anyone know for certain what this does and 
how to adjust it. Its locked with lacquer and I have not 
touched it.
     Is there a more complete schematic available anywhere? 
I checked the functions other than current and all seem to 
work and probaby be within specs.
