[Test-Equipment] fluke 8600A -- mystery diode test

I've got a Fluke 8600A benchtop DMM which seems to be in good working
condition.

Comparing it to the instruction manual, its a little different.  Over
the range setting labeled "2" (second ranging button) I have a little
diode symbol.

I wonder if this is a later-serial improvement Fluke made (and not
reflected in the manual I have).  Does anyone know whether the any
variants of the 8600A DMM have a diode feature, or how to operate that
measurement?
