[Test-Equipment] Information needed RF meter

Since the antenna feedpoint impedance may not be 50 ohms, one plan would
be to tune for max field strength using that meter and diode hooked to
a small sensing antenna placed close enough to the antenna to get a
mid-scale reading. Or put an RF milliammeter in series with the feedpoint.

Okay on the information. What I have is a AM transmitter tuned to 1620Khz.
The transmitter is going to a vertical antenna with a loading coil, with
a variable capacitor, so I wanted to be able to tune the antenna for
maximum output. I do not have a milliwatt RF meter so I thought maybe I
could jury rig one. Any other suggestions? Thanks. I will
