I know it's been suggested that you may have a supply fault, and I wouldn't 
 disagree with that possibility, but I still feel the easiest first test  
would be to check the input into the attenuator, especially as you say it  
seems to function ok other than lack of output.
On the 3336 that attenuator is right at the end of the chain, just before  
the output sockets, and I'm pretty sure from the manual that it's the same 
for  the 3335.
Again on the 3336, the input to the attenuator is via a coax plug on a  
flying lead so very easy to disconnect and check for signal on the cable.
It's a very quick check, much quicker to do than write about:-), obviously  
if the signal is missing at that point it's time to start checking the  
supply rails.
