I've always heard of people dissolving white "styrofoam" 
coffee cups in
MEK (or maybe it was xylene).  Are those cups polystyrene?

    I'll have to do a web search. I'm not even sure that 
polystyrene is the right stuff. I am told in another e-mail 
that General Cement still makes Q-Dope. If so there will be 
an MSDS for it. I remember seeing an article in some ham 
magazine of long ago about how to make your own.
