Kinko's and Office Max are not commercial graphics houses; they're consumer-
and small business-oriented shops. My local Kinko's doesn't have the
equipment to scan large pages, so they send that stuff across town to the
same graphics house that I use, and charge the customer for the scanning
plus courier service and a "handling charge." I strongly suggest getting
large or long sheets scanned, rather than copied. Two separate machines are
used by most graphics shops- one to scan, and another to print or plot.
Unless you absolutely must have a hard copy right away, just get the PDF
files put on a CD and worry about printing them later.
Commercial graphics houses are usually listed in the Yellow Pages under
Graphic Arts, Blueprinting, or Document Services. My mention of Kinko's was
intended to convey the fact that some large Kinko's have a document roll
printer which can print on 11" wide continuous paper the documents that were
scanned into PDF by a commercial graphics house.

I got the C-size (22 x 17) schematics for the AEA PK-900 copied at Kinkos or
Office Max, but they cost me 4 or 5 bucks per sheet!
