The schematic diagrams are sized to 11" x 17" paper. Not all programs that
handle .pdf files will provide the option of printing the schematics to that
size. I know that Acrobat does but I am not sure that Acrobat Reader has
that option.

The schematics can be printed on 8.5" x 11" paper but be prepared to use
reading glasses or even a magnifying glass. Commercial printer outfits like
Kinko's or Insty Print should be able to print the schematics on the larger
paper. There are about 12 large pages as I recall.

If you go to the commercial guys to get the manual pages printed on both
sides and spiral edge bound you probably will want to identify the large
pages for them. Once printed on the large paper and bound into a manual they
can be folded so they fit into the regular page size. For the total number
of pages involved I would expect the printing and edge binding to be to the
order of $20. That will give you a nice manual that can lay flat on the
workbench.
