Yep, sounds lile a Lemo number. Good luck if it is.
A few years ago some engineer who designed some special electronics for the
helicopters I was working on decided to pee on things so it smelled like
him. Therefore he specified a pair of Lemo connectors nobody had heard of.
And there was no changing his mind or connectors or anything. The thing was
already bought off by the FAA.
Mind you, we had to locate and aquire the connectors and pins and the
special tooling to install them.
I finaslly managed to find and contact a local Lemo rep. Wound up talking to
some woman who acted like I wasn't worth wasting time on. Askes a million
questions. Finally she asked me what my position with the company was.
Reply
"Bent over"
Long silence. Then she started laughing. Like to never shut up.
Bottom line, I got everything I needed. Tooling came in a seperate package,
marked engineering samples no charge.
Sometimes it pays to be able to think on the run.
