   I like and have Eico (my preference) and Heath generators, no only is their frequency accuracy 
sub standard but their output is usually quite low, (and most sweep with a sine wave) I prefer and 
collect HP test equipment and I get them at HAMfests, cheep, usually for $20-$25 and normally I must 
fix them and calibrate them to use them.  My favorite is the Melbourne, Florida HAMfest where much 
"junk" from the space-coast is cast off.  (now the second weekend of October)
