[Test-Equipment] Tek. 494P to 494AP upgrade

Has anyone had direct experience in upgrading the 494P to 494AP. What I have found so far it may be possible to swap out some boards to get the firmware needed for the additional functions such as auto peak search, bandwidth, next peak etc.
I Have a P but would like to have the features of the somewhat newer scopes, like the AP or the 495P and above.
