Hi Bill!!
I owned two of them. The 140 frame does not have storage (if memory
serves) but the 141 does. The scope itself is not a troublesome unit. Pick
up a plug in or two for spare parts (the gear is old and things break). They
work well and are easy to use. Get the service manuals for everything,
you'll want them for reference. There are a lot of them out there and the
parts unit s are easy to get. The plug-in are the bugger for parts, hence
the suggestion for parts units. Parts plug-ins can be had for as little as
$20.

Subject: [Test-Equipment] HP 140T Analyzer
Hi,
I have the chance to pickup a 140T, 8553B RF plugin and 8552B IF plugin.
The equipment is supposed to be working but has not been used in many
years. I have searched the web and Agilent for info but have only
gotten the barest data. It appears to go to 110 MHZ with decent
sensitivity.
I think it would serve me well but would like some more info. Does the
scope have storage capability? Is there any common problems I should
check for before purchase? And critical proprietary parts that are
likely to fail and drive me nuts trying to obtain? Any first hand info
would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Bill, K3PGB
