   This magnification is out of the range of a macro lens it is in the range
of a microscope.

   Normally objects in a fluid are examined in "well slides" a thick microscope
slide with a "bowl" ground into the center, it can then be covered with a cover
slip to reduce evaporation.  Is there a reason your specimen can't be transfered
to a "well slide"?  (with an eye dropper)
