[Test-Equipment] crystal checker

Some 70's CB "testers" included a crystal checker/sig gen, audio gen,
SWR/Power, FS meter and modulation meter. These are 9V powered and Ive used
the xtal checker function with HC-6, wire leads, as well as FT-243 once I
added a socket. With a short whip antenna plugged into the sig gen output
there is plenty of signal to tune in on a modern rig for precise frequency.

With some thought one of the metering functions could be modified to monitor
xtal current.

The one I use regularly is a Kris Vibratrol that I might have paid up to $5
for 20 years ago.
