Absolutely! I don't know the Michigan part of the family
very well because we moved long ago but the walpaper
business is, I think, the continuation of my grandfather's
store Knoppow Paint and Glass. There were also in the
wallpaper business when I was a kid, on Winder Street. My
father was Benjamin Knoppow, a lawyer in Detroit. He retired
when we moved out here. A relative has been keeping a
Knoppow family journal for many years. I will have to look
Jerry up to see exactly how he is related to me but I think
he must be the son of one of my father's brothers.
Thank you so much for writing to me. I sometimes feel as
though I were an orphan although there is quite a bit of
family out here.
Where in W8 land are you located?
