[Test-Equipment] Meg Ohm Meter

I have a Meg Ohm Meter that was Manufactured by the Interstate Manufacturing
Company.  It has a USN stamp on the bottom.  It has a hand crank with a
500Volt DC motor.  It can measure up to 1000 Mega Ohms.

The Manufacturing date is May 1944.  Serial Number 449, the indicator unit
was made by the Winslow Engineering Company.

The case is made out of bakelite and has three screw posts that are labeled
Guard, Line, and Ground.

I used these when I was in the USN as a Submarine Radioman to measure the
conductor insulation in our floating wire antennas.

I have had this for about 10 years and was just wondering what it might be
worth.  I notice that if you do a search for the analog type megohmmeter
that this things cost from 3-4 thousand and beyond.

I know I'm not sitting on a gold mine but was just curious.  I would
probably keep this for my own use.
