[Test-Equipment] Advice about used scopes

I'm following this discussion with great interest.

I have (and old) philips PM3262 alleged 100MHz scope that is in need of 
retirement and am considering an e-bay Tektronix 465.  Need to see 
asynchronous signals in the order of 1us.  Also considering a 465B 
DMM44, a 475DMM44 and 2465.  Of these, the 2465 looks the best, although 
the text written to the CRT is severely blurred, which may be indicative 
of a deeper problem perhaps.

Any advice on which of these I might focus on as a potential to the PM3262?
