Sounds like a cable TDR. BICCO made them so this may be a (partially) 
rebadged one? I may have the operators handbook for a BICCO somewhere. 
The coax cable adaptor was a special option built in a deep cover that 
clipped on the front instead of the usual shallow one that was only 
deep enough to cover the knobs etc.
