Hi Ed,

There is possible damage to devices, as I have been informed/advised is
there can be a spike generated by that style noise unit (noise head for
a noise tube 5722 Sylvania).
This can damage or destroy the devices???

There are more knowledgeable than I, can jump in about that.
Would not use that type for use with today's FET's and HEMP preamps.

Just my thoughts on the subject.
