Hi John,

My recomendation would be to purchase a tek 454, or 465.  Both are 
hundred megacycle scopes with good trigger performance.  The 454 uses 
standard off the shelf components and not tek's custom ICs so might be 
a bit easier to maintain as the years go by.  

If you are patient, both can be had on ebay for around a hundred bucks 
or less in good working condition.
