[Test-Equipment] Schomandl Frequency meter FD-1 /FDM-1

Can anyone point me to a source for an english text manual for this 
old-timer?
 The original german language manual is available online and while it 
provides the basics I would like to be able to read the details.
I need a replacement meter for it as well- the upper one of the two 
30-0-30 uA meters on the front panel. I'm not sure if this is J1 or J2 
as per the german manual parts list but the meters are electrically 
identical-I suspect the difference is just in the scale or markings - 
I don't have the original to be able to compare.
