Jose:

This is really great! This shows a lot about what this hobby is. I look
forward to all your future installments.

BTW, back somewhere early in the Cenozoic Era, I wrote a QA manual for a TV
tuner repair company. To do a good job, I learned how to repair all the
brands. Absolutely fascinating the range of so many different designs to
tune channels! Your epoxy fix is exactly what was necessary for contacts
that had... gone too far. Usually it was the local TV repair shop that was
fine on the big stuf' but hopeless and ham-handed when it came to the
tuners. A good business for the time. Of course how many people remember
electro-mechanical tuners except people like us!

Subject: [Test-Equipment] New section on my WEB: Workbench

Hello!

I have started a new section on my WEB. It is called EB5AGV's Workbench. I
hope to share with visitors my experiences fixing test and radio gear in an
informal and almost real-time (kind of Blog) fashion.

First installment is devoted to the HP-8640B I have just repaired. Address
of the index page is:

http://jvgavila.com/workb.htm

Hope you enjoy it!

Regards,

JOSE
