[Test-Equipment] HP 8553 (141Tsystem) input socket ??

Hi all we have an 8553 RF head which seemed deaf when tested, until we tried
one particular patch lead !! It turns out that the "tube" of the BNC input
socket has broken off, so that lead must have a long pin. The input socket
has a filter on the rear and looks as though it might be difficult to
disassemble / repair. I am sure this must have occurred to many units (under
the control of heavy handed techs :-))  )....so guys what's the best way of
fixing it?? Failing that has anyone got a spare BNC input assembly from a
"parted" unit.
