Hi Paul,
the schematics for the 3588A/3589A have never been released by HP.
More, the power supply is not HP-made, so even more difficult.
I'm repairing a blown 35660A power supply - exploded transistor.
Possibly we may exchange some info. In you supply is it possible to read
the type of the transistor mounted on the aluminum strip near the small
transformer? I may send a picture tomorrow, it could be the same model.
