Hello, recently bought a  "working" 8840A/AF which unfortunately does not work.  Problem is some of the front panel buttons do not respond. Also, once I get it into ACV I cannot return it to DCV.  Any way, I only have the manual to the 8840A which says to hold the SRQ button for more than 3 seconds to force the unit to do a self-diag.  This seems to do nothing on my A/AF. Anyone know the proper sequence of initializing a self-diag on the A/AF?

Also, anyone ever see before what I am seeing? Neither the 2- or 4-wire ohms buttons do anything, the DCma button works but not ACma. Also some of the range buttons do nothing.
