Good evening all,
I've been using a 1L20 for a couple of years, and a few threads
have developed on the Tek list that describe the 1L20 as somewhat
marginal in the world of spectrum analyzers.
In trolling our favorite site we love to hate, I notice that the
prices on HP 141T's have become somewhat affordable, depending on how
its configured and what the seller wants for shipping.
Could someone summarize the pros and cons, and especially what
the user would note as differences in operation and performance.
Also, I understand there is a tracking generator available for it.
Would the tracking generator serve as a general purpose calibrated
signal source in the shop outside of the 141T?
Thanks,
Dennis
