[Test-Equipment] Maconi 2017 and 2022C help needed

Hi I do not know these items but I am sure there are those that do. The 2017
SG is similar to the 2955 circuitry (which I have). I would suggest that it
sounds like a common failure of one of the OM350 series hybrid RF amps (made
by Philips but not unobtainable). My guess is that a unit in the levelling
amplifier has failed. They can be successfully replaced with MARx type
devices with some adaption. The 2022 sounds like it may be a failure of the
low frequency PLL synthersizer. I can not make any suggestions there. These
units have been discussed in the Marconi-test-equipment group recently, so
you may find more information in the archive.
