[Test-Equipment] HP 8656B

Anyone ever taken the front of the HP 8656B signal generator? I got one off 
ebay, seems to work, the " N " connector got bent either during shipping or 
before it was packed. I would like to straighten it up. I see only 4 screws 
two on top and bottom but am hesitant to remove them until learn a bit more 
about the assembly. I opened the case both top and bottom but the connector 
is inside of the front panel.

Also the buttons seem to have a strange tactile feel, like they are hard to 
push but seem to make contact anyway. I am wondering it that is normal. 
Maybe a dose of Caig De-Oxit 5 would help one i get into the front panel if 
the switches are open enough to do that.
