[Test-Equipment] Bird 43 Problem

I experienced a similar problem in one of our 43's at work. Turned out that the spring contact which touches the lug on the side of the element was contacting the shell instead of the lug.
Rotating the element slightly corrected the problem. You'll feel a tiny 'bump' when the contact is in the proper position.
