[Test-Equipment] Fwd: 536A Frequency Meter ?

It's a cavity with a movable plunger on a screw with a dial mechanism calibrated
directly in frequency. This one is likely loop coupled at the in and outputs. I
don't remember if this one peaks at resonance or dips.

HP has made a line of these going from at least 1 to 40 GHz. The WG ones all dip
at resonance as I remember, and are nice as markers on a WG sweep setup.

Other companies make similar units, but the readout is nicest on the HPs, IMO.
BTW, I think each one was individually calibrated using some photographic trick
to make the scale.
