If you want to phase lock an 8620, you might consider doing it the easy way...
Use an EIP source locking counter. It takes a BNC cable and a couple of wires
for course tuning to the interface connector. The pair is almost as good as a
synthesizer. No mess, no fuss. You can also control the EIP with GPIB.
