[Test-Equipment] Vector network analyzer choice

I have used the 8753D's in tuning television broadcast, high power, slot
antennas, vestigial sideband filters, transmission line elbows, etc.   I
have also used them in the lab characterizing and matching small RF loads
and related devices.  I found them very easy to use, quite functional and
intuitive.  Reliability was never a problem.  Mechanically, they are very
well built.   Electrically they did the job with more accuracy than we ever
needed in the real world

If it will serve your needs, save your money and find a good clean used
model D.
