[Test-Equipment] 811A Tube Check & 1kw Amp

   I don't know, my opinion is:

   Most tube testers are designed for RECEIVING tubes, the 810 and up are not 
receiving tubes, these are transmitting tubes. (6146's are horizontal output 
tubes originally)
   I suspect the heater power needed by a 811A will exceed the maximum rating
of the transformer in most tube testers.  (so they didn't supply any data)

   Does anyone know the heater Amperage capability of the Hickok 800A tube checker?
